Pasta with Broccoli, garlic and sardines
Ingredients for 4-5 people
1/2 kilo broccoli tops 1/2 cup olive oil 4 garlic cloves, thinly cut 1 cup olives without seeds 8-10 sardines cut in pieces 500gr pasta salt 1-2 pieces of red baked peppers black pepper Boil the broccoli in steam or in salted water for a while -until it looses its vigor. Remove from heat, place in a dry pot and poor cold water on the broccoli. In a wide low pot or in a pan, heat 2 spoons of olive oil and saute the garlic for a minute. Remove from heat before it changes color and let it cool down a bit. Add the rest of the oil in the pan and saute the sardines. Add the olives and dried broccoli. Cover the pan and remove from heat. When it is time to serve, boil the pasta (al dente style). Rinse and place the pasta in the pan with the broccoli. Mix them add fresh pepper and the red peppers and serve. |
